The neurologist works closely with other therapists and provides additional knowledge on the cognitive profile of the rehab patient. More specifically, he helps to understand the relationship between the brain, behaviour and cognitive functions such as language, memory and attention.<\/p>\n<h2>The Patient as an Active Participant<\/h2>\n<p>A neuropsychological assessment takes place in a one-on-one setting and focuses on making the therapeutic relationship as effective as possible by encouraging the patient to play an active role in their own evaluation.
