Message from the President and Chief Executive Officer dated April 3, 2020

Dear loved ones,

The presence of COVID-19 has caused a change in habits among the entire population. We are particularly sensitive to the effects that these circumstances have on you and your loved one. To this end, we would like to keep you informed about some of the measures taken at Villa Medica during this difficult period. The safety of your loved ones, our customers and employees is essential to us, which is why according to the Public Health directive we have prohibited access to our establishment to visitors.

Strict hygiene and prevention measures have been put in place to minimize the risk of transmission of COVID-19 at Villa Medica and allow our teams to maintain the service in complete safety:

  • Only one access to the building is available (at the front);
  • An employee is posted at the entrance to remind each employee or volunteer who enters
    the establishment of hand washing;
  • Dispensers for hand hygiene (alcoholic gel) have been installed in greater quantities and
    are available at all times for customers and staff;
  • An employee has been specially assigned to disinfect door handles and all
    frequently touched places;
  • Housekeeping routines have been revised and adapted to the situation;
  • Social distancing measures are in place, for example in elevators;
  • Employees receive regular newsletters on what to do as they progress;
  • Recreational activities are available to break the isolation while respecting the measures in place;
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) is available as needed for your loved ones and for our
    employees.
  • We have offered free television to all our customers since March 14 and also upgraded
    their provision of free coffee.
