Attention: The hospital is currently experiencing an outbreak. Please read the appropriate instructions.

Here is some information to consult before showing up for a visit.

At Villa Medica

  • Visits are suspended with the exception of peers or caregivers.

  • Family room groups are temporarily suspended for the weekend and will be reviewed next week.
  • Peers or caregivers: access, 4 people identified, 2 people/day maximum and 1 at a time in the room for all units in outbreak.

  • A register must be signed on arrival and departure from the hospital.


  • A member of the group must pick up the user from his room.


  • Please use the material available to clean and disinfect the chairs and tables used. Throw all waste in the trash cans

The following health instructions must be observed:

  • The wearing of the procedure mask for caregivers and visitors from the entrance of the facility until the exit;
  • Compliance with sanitary rules, hand washing and the distance of 2 meters must be applied at all times;

  • No consumption of food is permitted in the presence of the user.

In an outbreak situation:

  • Maximum of 4 people allowed on the visitor list
  • 2 people maximum per day
  • 1 person at a time in the room
  • Wearing PPE (gown, gloves, mask and eye protection) which will be given to you when you arrive at the reception on the ground floor of the hospital as well as training given on the care unit.

The immediate superior assistant has full authority to enforce these instructions and refuse access to a loved one in the event of non-compliance.
