Message from the President and CEO dated April 10

The Villa Medica rehabilitation hospital aims to offer its users and their loved ones the best possible care experience, from the very first contact until the return home and despite the current context.

The constant efforts of all our staff members demonstrate our desire to provide safe, quality and compassionate care and services.

Despite visitation restrictions, it is important to remember that you are an important member of the team.

It is by sharing information and maintaining open communication that we can contribute to maintaining a close collaboration with you, with the common goal of helping your loved ones in this ordeal. Please note that to users who consent, a dedicated team of volunteers and employees make calls to relatives to offer general information on the situation at Villa Medica. However, to obtain answers specific to the health condition, do not hesitate to contact your loved one’s nurse on the floor where he is hospitalized.

Also, we inform you of the establishment of a new accessible voicemail : 514 288-8201 extension 4633. On this voicemail, which is confidential, you are invited to leave a detailed message expressing your questions, needs, concerns and any questions that may contribute to the well-being of all. Do not hesitate to ask your questions there. We will contact everyone who left a message as soon as possible.

In addition, at Villa Medica, during the period when you cannot visit your loved one, we have a small team of employees and volunteers responding to several services:

  • friendly visits;
  • leisure activities in the room or in a small group;
  • Videoconference calls.
  • Help with washing
  • And all other requests according to feasibility are evaluated

Please note that there is a wireless connection (Wi-Fi) throughout the building.

Remember that you remain important to us, to your loved one, despite the ban on visits.

Anne-Beauchamp
CEO
