As we are very aware of the importance of loved ones for our clients and that which they have for you, we would like to offer periodic updates on the evolution of the situation related to COVID-19 at the hospital. Villa Medica rehabilitation.
Since March 12 we have had customers and employees affected by COVID 19. In both cases, less than 1% of customers and less than 1% of employees were affected. Recently at the request of the Ministry of Health and Social Services (MSSS) we have
been appointed to become a Designated Intensive Functional Rehabilitation (RFI) Center for COVID 19 cases.
This means that patients with a positive COVID 19 result, who require physical rehabilitation care, we will be transferred. We will offer them a quality rehabilitation service, adapting our methods and deploying all the necessary precautions to protect our environment. All these clients will have treatments in their room.
We understand that this decision may cause you some concern. We made sure to meet the prerequisites (appropriate protocols, equipment for care, installation of personal protective equipment, etc.) to ensure that

Until the risk is removed, visits unfortunately remain prohibited for relatives who play a considerable role in the well-being of our patients. While not minimizing the value of human contact, we remind you that we have put
several measures on site allowing you to keep in touch with your loved ones. You can make an appointment to make video calls (HERE). Also, you can come and leave personal effects that we will disinfect. We take
also arrange to provide you with regular updates about your loved ones. A member of our staff will contact you in due course.
