You have been patient in order to protect your loved ones! Finally, from June 9, 2020, we will become accessible again and you will be able to come and visit us, at least for a good part of you. In fact, visits will be authorized for clients who are not affected by COVID-19 or who are cured of it, 14 days after admission. Obviously, certain rules have been established in line with the recommendations of the Ministry of Health and Social Services.
Each client can receive one visitor at a time. We will be able to accept up to 5 visitors per day for one hour tours. Visiting hours will begin at 1:00 p.m. and the last time slot will be scheduled from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
A designated person will be there to greet you, offer you the necessary assistance to put on personal protective equipment and give you relevant information. She will stay close to you during the meeting with your loved one to make your visit pleasant and safe.
We will try to prioritize requests in order to offer the possibility to as many of our customers as possible to be visited. Rest assured that we are thinking about setting up other means that will allow us to welcome more visitors gradually.
You can leave a message at 4633 to get an appointment.
As you know, we are a designated rehab center for COVID clients. We thus proceed to the admissions of these clients in order to offer them services. The number of beds reserved for this clientele is limited to a dedicated unit and clients cannot circulate in the establishment. Regarding our employees, we had up to 12.5% of people affected. However, today less than 4% of them are still afflicted with COVID-19. Several of them are doing much better, have recovered and are back to work. It’s really encouraging!
As the current situation limits your access to the hospital and to information, we have opted to make a special edition of our internal newspaper, usually dedicated exclusively to employees. Our newspaper “Le Messager” was released this week and targets customers as well as relatives and employees, available here. Do not hesitate to ask for your copy when you come to visit us in order to have more information on the activities at Villa Medica.
The beautiful days have arrived! Let’s enjoy it and try to forget our last weeks. Your presence will bring us all a little sunshine.
